Booked my car in garage today for a few bits that needed doing.

Only problem is the guy recommended NGK spark plugs. Reading on this forum worries me that they may not me a good call.

I read that the coil pack can fail. Mine has the grey clip, pretty sure it is not a sagem.

I have a 2001 206 lx 1.4 8v, any idea if I will have a problem?

Booked in for 8am tommorow so will get him to get Bosch plugs if there will be an issue.

Thanks all.

Yes get bosch plugs. NGK have known issues, which if you use the search function is covered in many topics.

Just get Bosch ones instead if it will help you sleep easier. Anything regarding NGK plugs in Peugeots seems to end in arguments.

onI did see that it is covered a lot but there is not really a difinitive answer in any. I'm sure all 206 models are not affected.

Thank you for your reply any how.

He will be collecting the box ends to exchange for the stuff in the NGK catalogue Wink

Lots of mechanics / garages do it.
