Hi Guys,
I have a 2005 206 sport in EZR (Aluminium) and I am looking to style it a bit more to look more sporty but without spending a fortune, I am open to any suggestions.
Currently i have:
lack Halo/Angels (swapping back to black masked crystals)
black lexus rear lights
17" Khan alloys
Twin exhaust.
planned so far:
slight lowering (need to keep it comfy for the kids)
add boot spoiler
paint rocker cover
I want to paint the centre console and air vents though not sure what colour without it looking too 'chavy', the interior is red.
I also want to replace the front arches with gti ones to make it a bit beefier at the front, is it a straight swap (ie will the fit with the doors and current bumper as it is a sport)?
I want it to stand out when i am at traffic lights etc but subtly if that makes sense

- Ditch the lexus lights for some M3's or something
- Get some SP Vent Sliders
- Lower 35mm all round
- Debadge the rear but leave the lion
- Tint fogs yellow
- Cupra splitter
List is endless - in the end you want to make it yours, but above are some common, subtle mods

i was actually thinking of doing that with the rear lights, bought them last year kind of spur of the moment and never really liked them, got my phase 2s back on just now.
vent sliders, i suppose you mean the vent on bonnet and bumper?
I was thinking 30(ish)mm to front and only around 20mm to the back so to keep it comfertable for my 4 year old and 7 month old.
i have taken the 'Peugeot' from the back since the pic was taken but like the '206' one so i think i will keep that, or maybe move it to where the lion is or will that look daft?

Ah that's alright.
Vent sliders as in the interior AC vents, so they would look like this:
35mm all round remains comfortable, and improve looks no end!
And it'll look daft where the lion is!

Not normally a fan of non OEM alloys but yours look nice, suit the car.
I'd add SP Grilles, they make world of difference

emove any matte colour and replace it with gloss (wing mirrors, bonnet vent, etc) Just respray them, cheap as chips. Makes the car look a lot sportier. If you're getting masked head lights, I think you should do the fogs alongside:)

Thanks Luke, i seen them in the shop and they were almost an exact colour match to the car so i snapped them up lol, i have been looking at the sp grilles and i do like them but i kinda like the black at the front aswell and i have only seen the sp ones in silver.
good idea with the gloss dswr, i am pretty handy with an aerosol can as well i actually always meant to do the fogs when i got the angel eyes but i was never too keen on them and wasnt sure what i was going to do.
thanks for your input guys

Arches will only fit with the matching wings, and vice versa.

sorry i meant the full wing panel, not the arch extensions. i am guessing they would line with the bumper OK as its the sport one (correct me if i am wrong) but no sure about doors, i know they are more flared over the wheels, is it the same where they meet the doors?
cheers
btw i had a look through your project, that car is sexxy! lol, i was thinking of doing my roof gloss black but wasn't sure how it would look but yours is brilliant.

I had to ask the same question myself. I thought sports bumper would only go to the sports wing but turns out I was wrong. Door and bumpers will accept either wing set. So non sports wing and sports bumper, or sports wing and non sports bumper, all work fine:) only thing you've got to remember is that if you gets the sports wing your non sports arch liner won't fit properly, so get that too!
Cheers for checking out my project thread. Glad people are liking the car:) gloss black roof definitely transforms the car!

Urgh, will spray my a/b/c interior pillars black. Custom exhaust system and an induction kit. It's pretty much finished now:) [/quote]

Good lad:) I got my roof done for £55 off some friends down manchester! at that price it was worth giving it a go even if I didn't like it:)
