Hi all, wonder if anyone can help?
We have a pug 206 automatic 1.4. When we bought if we knew if had a gear box problem and had the solenoid changed. It used to get stuck in gear and you would have to pull over and turn the car non and off. It used to beep at you to let you know it had happened. Since having the solenoid changed, if started beeping again and we took it back and the guy did a diagnostic but it said unknown code. Took it to a garage today and the diagnostic said 130 electronic stability esp. A that's it. It constantly beeps all the time, every 3-4 minutes. Has anyone else had this problem or could anyone offer any advice?
The solenoid was about £475 to replace. Is their a different type of diagnostic we could have run to find out exactly what the problem is??

Has the car actually got ESP fitted?
ESP fault codes & the warning light are known to sometimes get flagged up on a multiplexed 206 without ESP when the battery is on its way out.
Peugeot Planet is what you need to scan / test the car.

The dealer level diagnostic software that is best to scan a 206 with.

Take it to a Peugeot main dealer for a diagnostic check
OR
Use the forum member map to find someone nearby with Planet
