This issue started when I bought the car when someone drove into the passenger mirror whilst folded in, only in the last 2 weeks has the top part of the wing mirror started to shake quite bad whilst driving. It is only the top half of the mirror and still folds in.
Haven't really got time to take it apart so just want to know if it's fixable or if I need to buy a new mirror?

Do you mean the mirror cap?
Possible the clips have broken. If you aren't going to be changing the colour of the caps, then a bit of strong adhesive would probably do the trick.

I wish it was the cap mate but unfortunately it's the main body which the cap is secured too which is quite loose/shakes when driving, possibly a clip or something broken inside.
Have a read up and it looks like the top part of the main mirror is screwed to the bottom half

that is a common problem with folding mirrors i believe,as when it get a hit while folded, that can break things inside,as today I was working on a Peugeot 407,both mirrors play badly while driving, even though they fold perfectly.
Also cuz they fold/unfold many times during the day, that makes a small play in the toothed plastic inside cuz of age and wear out.

You can take the mirror glass off,and take a look behind it,to see what cause the play,if it can be fixed, try to fix it,if not,buy a replacement mirror, and keep this as a spare parts.
