I'm having few problems with my 206 (1.4 petrol) only got it about 3 weeks ago the fan doesn't come on and the engine over heats very quickly I flushed the system through which seemed to make a difference and also had heat coming into the car as well which I didn't before, seemed ok for a while but then the water disappears have to keep topping it up but can't see no leaks.
Also I can't find where the fan switch is located taken it to a garage as well and they couldn't find it either
Thanks Becky

If your Pug as A/C then test to see if the fan comes on when the A/C is on.
If it does the its more then likely a faulty sensor.
You mention lose of water but no leaks so sounds like your head gasket may be going, car overheating and loss of water with no visable leaks is common sign of this.
If your garage is decent they will happily check to see free of charge, I recommend this before you start replacing parts to no avail.

the system will still be bleeding its self after you flushed and refiled the system
thats the coolant temperature gauge i think, but obviously if it isnt working properly it wont signal to switch the fan on.
how is it temperature now? what temp does it get up to?

have you thought of a faulty thermostat?,as if it's stuck, then the heat will go up fast, which cause a huge pressure inside the cooling system,so to check if the thermostat is working well, start the car from cold, and feel the upper hose connect to the radiator,it should stay cold till the car reach 87-89oC,then you should feel a very hot hose,if it stays cold, then you have a faulty thermostat.
Take a look at this link to get an idea:
