Hi Guys,
About a month ago I purchased 206 GTI alloys for my 1.4 lx which at the time ran on 14" standards. After putting the new wheels on, I heard knocks coming from the back then stupidly decided to ignore it. Now, each wheel seems to knock and bang over bumps and there is an awful really loud almost high pitched rattle coming from the rear (not the spare wheel but certainly sounds like something in very loose). I lately changed the rear back box however It is securely on so unsure if that's the cause of the rattle. A few days ago I decided to replace the alloys with the standard wheels hoping that this would stop the noises but sadly not. Any idea how I'd fix this?:(

It could be the rear beam giving in. Someone else may be able to shed more light.
