Hey Guys,
Basically, this is my first car, 1.1 206 LX (2002).
I'm struggling to get past 60mph and was just wondering what I can do to improve the performance?
I've done basic things; Redex, Changed all fluids, cleaned the fuel tank, ect... Is there anything that will give it more power?
Cheers,
-Jord

I hate to say it but... They are painfully slow.

I personally don't agree with what the majority of users say on here about the 1.1 being really slow. Ok it isn't the fastest car in the world but it is no where near as bad as it's made out to be. Even at 70 mph in fifth gear the car is eager to just keep going. And I've had my fair share of overtaking other cars on the road believe it or not
Have you got any warning lights on? It shouldn't really be struggling to get past 60. I suppose decatting may help as well as. Has the car been regularly serviced?
The following may help: check to see if there is anything in the air intake box. Do a compression test. Replace the coil pack and spark plugs. Check injectors.

I've done compression and spark plugs. Car has been regularly serviced, however, I have a feeling they're fake cert's. I work in aftersales and the more I'm learning, the more seems to be wrong with the car. Any advice?

Got to 70 today!
Going to start looking at trims and things like that to make it look a little nicer now.
