hi there people
my first question is my back window demister wont work , ,the switch on my heater control panel illuminates with the rest of my interior lights but choose how I press it it wont illuminate the little round orange light next to the switch.
I,m not sure what fuse it is or wich fusebox I need to be looking in.

also is it possible to add front fog lights n if so whats involved.
my car is a yreg 206 1.1.
any help is mega appreciated thanks.

The fuse you are looking for is located under the steering wheel. No. 10 fuse (40A) large orange fuse located centre left.

Adding fog lights can be done. Behind your headlights you will have some wires knocking about with connectors on the end, these are for the fog lights. Majority (if not all with the exception of the 180 I think?) share the same wiring loom.
You will of course need to purchase a bumper with fog lights and you will also need to access the BSI and toggle the setting on for the fogs to be enabled.

there will NOT be any loom behind the bumper for the fog lights! The reason im near 100% certain is becasue when i owned a 1.1 it didnt have them.

You need to buy a kit like this. here

You need to be competent in electrics to be able to fit them, You also can tweek it so that they only come on when your car is on full beam.

Regarding the first issue, check the fuse, if its not that then buy a new digital heater display, cheap enough to see if that fixes it.

hi there I checked the fuse and slot 10 had a red 10amp fuse in it so I took it out and replaced it with a 30amp fuse as I couldent get a 40amp from my local car shop.
but the man in the car shop said if it hadent blown the 10amp fuse or the 30amp fuse then it wouldent blow a 40amp fuse.
any suggestions guys ????????
