Over fueling more than likely, could be a number of reasons though. Engine light on?

I notice the OP mentions the throttle body & ecu have been changed, wonder if there the correct one's for the engine.

Engine light has been on and off as i reset it with code reader. p0170 fuel trim bank 1 p0300 random misfire p1336 misfiring some of those codes might have come on because we had car running with some sensors off when we changed everything all have been cleared now and will get another reading tomorrow light has come back on again tonight.

throttle body and ecu are defo for correct engine. They have been sourced via specailised companys and are like for like part numbers on the back.

Front lambda could be knackered, giving false reading so over fuelling.

Right so you have a misfire code yet you havent sorted it?!

The reason its getting red hot is because all the fuel that is bore washing the cylinder is getting thrown into the cat. Your new cat is f****d since you have fixed a simple misfire

Side note, check the resistance on the injectors should all be near on the same
