Hey Guys,

Looking for a dpf removal pipe for a 1.6hdi 206 but when searching awhile back found they are the same pipe across the 1.6hdi's

When previously searching i found them with ease but cannot find any anywhere?

Any one got a link to some?

Also it's thrown up the following codes:

P0472
P1351

Anyone shed some further light into these? I believe them to both be EGR/DPF related?

Exhaust differential pressure sensor signal : Short circuit to earth

P1351
Pre-heating relay circuit : Coherence ; Relay supplied and glow plugs not supplied

Do not get a decat pipe. This will lead to you failing the MOT as if a DPF was fitted out the factory, it must still be fitted to the vehicle. A better option is to have the inners removed from the DFP canister and a DPF delete remap done. I am holding absolutely no guarantees that this will be seen as legal, but it will conform with the exact word of the regulations (not necessarily their interpretation...)

I had my DPF removed, but the cannister remains and also had the DPF delete carried out.

It passed the MOT with no issues.

MOT is not an issue.. running a decat on my 207 no problemo Razz

I do have some pipes in stock that will fit on the 206 1.6 HDI, although I do recommend hollowing the canister to avoid problems with strict MOT testers.
That said, if you have the heat shields on and the lower engine cover you won't be able to see that there is a straight through pipe in place.

Are these a direct replacement for the dpf? As in take it out and pop yours in its place?

Well, I had them made up and tested them all on my 206 1.6 and yes they fitted perfectly. We then bought a 307 1.6 and they don't fit. I have a strange feeling the sump is different and the alternator is bigger on the 307?

But yes, on the 206 1.6 110 it 'should' be a direct fit, just clamps on at each end. If it doesn't fit I'll send you your money back.

Pipes are £50 and then postage on top. Obviously you can't run this without a proper remap otherwise the turbo will over boost, you can't use ECU safe to remove your DPF because this will also cause over boosting. If you want a remap and the pipe together just drop me an email or a call.

There is a year break, pre-2008 I believe, when a removed CAT or removed DPF is not an MOT failure.

Pretty confident DPF removal 2007 is not failure so i have assumed CAWT is the same but may be wrong there.

No, there's new rules, Dcat or DPF removal on a vehicle which came with one from the factory is a fail. However the MOT testers don't have a database showing which cars should have this. My MOT tester said 'how am I supposed to know if it has one?' Basically if they aren't sure they will just pass it because unless it says it has a DPf on the log book they don't really have a way of checking unless they know abnout the cars they are MOT'ing. That said it's still best to hollow the cat and DPF rather than a straight through just in case.

Personally I think it's best to hollow the canister and then you don't need to worry about future MOTs

Is that still possible to do in one day?

The DPF temperature sensor on the DPF was cut by a previous owner and is causing the EML.. im guessing this will be switched off anyway?
