Hi
My car does not always have servo assisted brakes ! Sometimes the brake assistance is not there and have to press really hard for them to work. I can not hear any hissing from a leak. The vacuum pipe is the hard plastic pipe so would not think it has collapsed ?
I also have the problem with car not ticking over, could this be linked.
Was thinking of taking the servo vacuum pipe off and blocking the hole to see if the car would tick over ( not drive it like that ) Is there a non return valve that could be broken? although if not leaking I can not see that making much difference
Any ideas

There is a valve that goes between the servo & the vacuum pipe.
