Hi all.
each time i start the car the climate control always wants the air con on, even when i have it in manual the air con is on. The air isn't working yet because one if the pipes looks if it came apart due to metal failure, that should be fixed Tuesday.

Is there anyway i can set the climate control so the air con doesn't come on unless i pick it or set auto?

I don,t have the cars manual.

I think a lot of cars automatically run the air con to stop the seals in the compressor drying out.

Yes guess so, i have found a post that sounds interesting, so will be giving it a try monday, at the moment it wouldn't matter if the air con was on, there's no pipe from condenser, I looked at a new pipe from peugeot but at 75 quid is nuts, so i found a breaker on ebay selling a condenser and pipes for 25 quid, i may sell the rad on because it looks in great condition but not until the new pipes are fitted Tuesdays, i,ve had 3 cars in a row and all 3 had air conditioning problems, i think if this 4th air con works i will do this weeks lottery lol. I,ve only had this car a short time after the last pug i rolled twice 2 months back, i would love to put the photos one of the car because it shows just how strong the car is, really strange crash, it was fine through the corner but coming out the rear end let go so fast i had no time to do a thing, it went into the ditch nearly back end 1st but before it went in it rolled, i braced and ducked down towards the handbrake, it landed upside down and i was hanging by the seat belt, trying to get out was hard, i kicked the hell out of my side window but nope so i managed to get the rear door open, there was police, firemen and ambulance, lmao they looked at me then the car and said how the hell did i walk away, only damage i took was to my legs, but nothing much. I,ve crashed bikes at a 115 mph but crashing a car is different because you stuck with it. Well i never got on with that car, i have a gt now and i,m more suited to that type.

I don,t have the cars manual.

When it comes on is air directed at front screen?

As wife's new car, if left with the window screen selected when start her up, the blower and air on come on full blast as that's best setting for de-mist the manual says
