hi all
i have 1.1 206 x reg, and the gears are hard to select, especially 1st and 2nd, what could be the reason? the clutch has apparently changed 20k miles ago but the biting point is high but doesnt slip, tried to pull away in 3rd and it just took very long time before i could let go of the clutch. help please.

also to add i get hissing noise from front left side when i let go of the brake pedal, is that my servo going?

Might be worth checking out the clutch cable & linkages between gear lever & gear box for any wear & correct adjustment.
Trying to pull away in 3rd is always gonna take some doing, & cane even a good clutch, it's not something I'd do.

Clutch could be dragging. Caused by crap on the splines on the center plate and gearbox shaft.
