Eco mode is a BSI state which only occurs if the battery is getting low. It's designed so that you don't drain the battery to a point where you can't start the car.

If it's occurring quickly, you may want to check your battery.

To turn off auto lights, put the ignition on, hold the button on the end of the light stalk until you hear a "bong" noise come from around the steering wheel area.

The only solution ive found to eco mode is to start and stop the engine to get past it...

Why would you bother though... It's like you want to not be able to start your car!?

What He Said

It's a safety precaution. ECO mode is enabled, when there is enough charge left in the battery for one start of the car. Would you rather be stranded with a flat battery?

i am pretty sure the radio doesnt use much battery, and mine kicks in after 15 mins no matter how high or low my batter charge is. i used to have a fiesta and i could run the radio with the internal light on for hours and it would start no problem. all im saying is there is no need in it coming on so early. maby after an hour or more then yes but it realy does just take the mikky. i should be telling the car what i want it to do, not what it it allowes me to do.

Go pay your local Peugeot dealer to disable it in your BSI configuration set up then Rolling Eyes
