Looking for some help on behalf of a friend

His 180 is light up like a christmas tree.. all the lights are on on the dials and flashed up with an ABS fault, Handbrake on and depollution error

Ruled out the battery.. all reading are fine on that

Has 2 error codes:
P0502
U0121

Now having had a search it seems it has lost communication to the abs ecu (or whatever the correct name is)

Soo.. the question is what would be the next step? Can this be replaced? If so how? Where is it located etc...?

Well since there is no communication between the ABS ECU,and the Engine ECU (U0121),and the fault (P0502) which is for vehicle speed sensor,I would check the (BSM),which is the fuse box in the engine bay, check it for these:

1-Check fuses, all of them, and the one hidden under the BSM.
2-Check it for water,if there is any kind of water marks.

if there is water, dry it,and spray some contact cleaner, and see how things goes, hope that this will help your friend.

Good Luck

Do the HIDs give problems even when off? Could they give issues without P codes and/or faulty lights?
