My central locking bounces, the car is 2.0 gti 2000 plate so non/pre-plexed. I have disconnected both doors and the boot still bounces, and tried one door at a time but still no luck. Any ideas?

Must add, all 3 locks bounce (both doors and boot) so no clear culprit, I can manually lock both doors but only after pressing the button on the key to make the locks bounce until the key does nothing, and only then can I push the locks down. All fuses are fine, clicks heard from the fuses area. Really am stumped. Any help would be appreciated, I'm starting to run out of things to try!

Im heading in the direction of broken wire inside the rubber sleeve between one of the doors, or a poor connection somewhere. It thinks a door is open. Does the alarm chirp when you lock it with the remote button?

Thanks for your input, I have disconnected both doors and tried but still no luck, and when the button is pressed all locks bounce which suggests connections are fine. I will see if I can trace all the wires just to be doubly sure but the connections do seem fine, and also the interior light does go off when set to be on when a door is open. I get absolutely nothing from the alarm when the button is pressed, if the alarm has been disconnected for what ever reason could this cause the central locking bounce? I've also noticed that the inside disabled central locking button does nothing, maybe something to do with that?
