Morning everyone,

Had a little issue where my 206 Gti 138 brings up the abs and traction control light upon staring and beeps to tell me there's an issue. I restart the car and it sorts itself out, no faults. It also comes on when driving occasionally, once again, I just restart the car and it sorts it.

I've plugged the car into my fault reader and there's no codes stored? Also ran the test with the lights on, still no fault codes.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Use a better code reader, Peugeot Planet will read it perfectly.

Never had a issue with my fault reader before, works perfect normally but had a proper code reader plugged into today as you said, apparently a speed sensor is fault. I believe I'm right in saying the speed sensor is on the abs and esp are on the same system so it might be that causing the issue? If I'm right let me know though!

There only about £20 from what ive seen so I sort that and see what the result is.

Also I do need to check the tracking as its not perfect, but not fair off. Thanks.

If it was a front speed sensor fault then check the toothed wheel for the ABS sensor on each driveshaft as there known to crack Wink

If the code reader can do live data go for a drive and see what wheel isnt showing any data.
