I have a 2003 (Multi plexed) 206cc with a rev counter that flicks up when you open the door or unlock the car that I want to replace.
Are they coded to the car or is it a straight swap? What milage will be shown (car milage or dash milage)?

It should be a straight swap providing you get a cluster from another multi-plexed with the same spec eg oil temp etc.
The mileage shown will be which ever is higher from the new cluster or the old cluster. For example, if your car is currently 80000 and the replacement cluster is 50000, then 80000 will be shown. If the replacement cluster has 100000 on it, then 100000 will be shown.

In other words buy a replacement with a lower mileage when it comes to multiplex unless you don't care to keep the correct mileage.

It will be coming from a car in the scrapyard so no idea what the mileage is.
Doubt it wil be more than the 150k the car has on it lol
