Hi there, I've just bought another car a 307 1.4 8v 2002, she starts fine if I've left it for a while it just seems to be when it's been used you turn it off and then come to drive her again she struggles to start. You can hear it when you turn the key but nothing from the engine, but sometimes you can hear it slightly turn over then you have to rev it to keep her going? One thing I do know on the car is the Temp sensor has gone wrong, I could be driving for 15mins and it's not even near 90 and shoots the needle in the red then drops back to original temp, but this sends the fans on. Could this be the problem..

Could be the throttle body needing a clean.
