Hi All,

Wondered if anyone could help with the problem I'm having. My 2003 206 seems to be making a noise which can only be described as an Air Leak from the passenger side footwell.

The noise stops when I apply the brake, even just a tap but will start up again either later or sometimes immediately.

I have had a look through the other posts but can't seem to find anything (well, I used the search function, not sure how accurate it is)

Any ideas on what could be causing it and if it's fixable.

Cheers

Rob Very Happy

No personal experience of it, but as you say i's brake related... IIRC the brake master cylinder is in the other side of the bulkhead in that area, and the brake linkage goes through there.

Fixable - of course. Replacement of whole unit (sometimes seal kits are available, don't know on the pug, or what's easier/more cost efficient) The brakes will need a proper bleed, and if you've got ESP I think you'll need software to hold open the valves in the ABS unit to ensure no bubbles are trapped there. Not very good at brake stuff though, so this is all 2nd/3rd hand info.
