Hi everyone, I just had my codes read and the only ones that come up are P0110 and P0141, also there is a spike in fuel consumption and a smell of petrol coming out of my exhaust along with black smoke sometimes, also I have a fluctuating idle, I just had the idle valve cleaned, but doesn't do anything. I did take the Sparks out and seems they are due for a change, so will do that later this week, but can anyone tell me what sensors I should change for th two codes provided. Thank you in advance.

P0110 Intake Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction
P0141 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

Second one could be caused by the first 1 as unburnt fuel will be passing over the sensor. Did you clean the MAP sensor as this contains the air temp sensor and ultimately determines how much fuel to put in the cylinder

Which O2 sensor should I change in case the map sensor change doesn't resolve the issue? The before cat one or the after cat one? Thank you.

Drove it, erased the errors and the light is off now, dont know how exactly cause I didn't turn it off as I don't have that tool, I only have a normal obd reader, didn't give me the errors again though, but still the petrol smell persists, what could it be?

smell of petrol can only mean one thing its not being burnt, does it drive ok?

If you can smell petrol through a catalytic converter, the cat is soaking up the petrol and is slowly destroying it not only that when it reaches normal temperature it burns away and all the bits that are left fall apart and block up the exhaust.
