Went to have a look under the car at the track rod and track rod ends because of the advisory I have that there was play the steering track rod inner joints and noticed my gearbox was covered in oil, I'm guessing it's a leak, anyone else had a gearbox leak and find the best way to fix it?

Driveshaft oil seals are favourite place for a leak.
Clean the mess down so you can get an idea where the leak is actually coming from.

Also just because the gearbox is covered in oil, any oil leaking from the top of the engine is likely to drip down and over the gearbox. Just a tip as mine had oil on gearbox and it was the rocker cover gasket.
