If an auto electrician has already looked at it then I'll take a guess that he has given the battery a clean bill of health and there is nothing draining the battery overnight. If not, get the battery charged and checked , and replace if necessary.

Do you mean the connectors on the wires? Did you check the earth wire to the gearbox?

A little bit more info about the car might also be useful as there are problems common to different models.

I would check the electrolyte level in the battery. When I got my 206 recently it started but was quite lethargic in doing so. One cold morning it really struggled to turn the engine quickly enough and only just got going.

It turned out that the battery needed an extra half a litre of deionised water adding to it in order for the plates to be covered in all of the cells. Since topping up the battery, it is far more energetic, and this has cured the issue. If the fluid level is too low then the battery can only hold a fraction of the charge it should, so will struggle to do anything where demand is high such as starting, which requires the greatest amount of available current that the battery can deliver.

You should look into this as it is a very cheap fix if it resolves the issue. A bottle of water is around 50 - 60p versus £50 for a new battery.
