I've got an Alpine UTE-72BT radio, and I'm having a strange issue where, at random times, the volume of the radio will jump up for no reason, and will not come back down again by itself. I have to manually turn down the volume. This happens every time I turn the radio on, but only once. It may be worth noting I play music using my phone through Bluetooth.

I have tried everything I can think of, and currently, the only input to the radio is the battery feed, connected to the battery and switched live inputs on the radio. I have even disconnected the microphone and aerial.

This is the second UTE-72BT radio I have tried, I have used three different Bluetooth devices, tried playing through a USB stick and it still occurs.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

Thanks
