Hey all I Purchased my first car about two months ago. It's a 2005 1.1 3 door hatchback petrol with 52k miles. Today at around 6pm I drove to my friends house and when I removed the satnav from the windscreen the rubber bit that sticks onto the screen fell into the vents under the windshield. I was quite concerned but my friend said I was over-reacting. Fast forward 3 hours went to cinema and watched Creed (quality) and as I turned my AC on a horrendous sound which sounded like the rubber was hitting off the fan and when I turned the AC off and back on a few times the sound had gone but when I started driving on the motorway shortly after I put on the fan for heat we both smelt burning and that dissapeared so after all that my car fans the AC and stuff seem ok and fully functional however I was just wondering how bad has the rubber affected my car like if it melted or w/e
I also wasn't sure if it just fell through or not
everybody thinks I'm overreacting but I just want to be sure.

Cheers
