Car: 2007/04 reg. 206 1.4i TU3JP manual trans. LHD with manual A/C
Recently changed coolant. I have not changed the O ring seal on the radiator drain plug.
Car is in daily use and I am too lazy to drain + fill + bleed the cooling system two more times. (1. to measure the O ring diameter and to order it, 2. to replace the O ring)
If someone have a spare or not installed radiator and may measure it would be a great help.
Dealer said there is no part number for this O ring, this is part of the radiator...
If You changed the coolant at the dealer or other shop, there may be info on the invoice.
Thanks for advance!

Hi and welcome.
I couldn't tell you the diameter at this moment but might be doing a radiator swap later this week. It might be worth heading down to a breaker and grabbing one from there as I don't imagine many of the folk on here would be able to help right away.
If you don't already know by the time I get this car in to work on then I will let you know.

Is the radiator leaking from the drain plug? If not why bother fixing something that isn't broken.
For future reference it's easier to drain the system by removing the bottom hose, just be careful you don't get soaked as it comes out a lot quicker than the trickle from the drain plug

My thoughts exactly. I always drain from the bottom hose. To be honest I forgot there was even a drain plug.

Two weeks ago I changed the coolant and I used this dedicated drain plug. Definately leaking there.
I wasted two days digging the O ring size info. (dealer, forums, Peugeot parts catalog, contacted e-bay seller who are selling similar looking radiator etc.)
I decided that I will drain the system shortly in a clean pan and fill in a bottle, remove the plug, and tomorrow morning I will take it to the dealer, I need some other small parts too. If they can't help with the O ring, I measure the diameters and buy some similar size O rings at the seal shop.
I will use another car until weekend.
You are right with the advice (to remove the bottom radiator hose to drain).
Four years ago the same thing happend on my 1994 Toyota Corolla with the drain plug.
It was a 18 year old O ring though there was no problem with it when I changed the coolant 3 and 6 years before that time.
On the 206 I originally planned the bottom hose method. There was the pliers in my hand to remove the rusty clamp, but I spotted the dedicated drain plug, it was tempting. I thought there is a "nearly new" O ring what can go wrong. I chose the wrong way.

Sadly that's the way it works with cars. You win some, you lose some. If you do find out the diameter, could you possibly post it on here to help anyone in your shoes in the future? I'm making up a list of O Ring sizes so I don't have to use servicebox every time someone brings a car in.

I measured the used O ring:
inner diameter: 14.2mm
outer diameter: 18.2mm
width variable: 1.7 - 2.3mm
Tap groove diameter: 14.5mm
I installed a new O ring:
inner diameter: 14mm
width: 2,5mm
It depends on the manufacturer of the radiator though, different manufacturers have different size drain plugs.
So I measured the outer diameter of the "tube" where the drain plug goes. It is 24mm.
The markings on top of the radiator: NRF >PA66-GF35<

Thanks for posting your findings. I'll add this to the list. Glad you got your problem sorted in the end.
