Hello chaps,
I own a Pug 206 2004 1.1 S.
Ever since my car radio got swapped to a Sony After market HU I have not been able to change the date/ time on my display by pressing either of the buttons.
I blew a fuse yesterday which reset the time/ date back to 00/00/0000 and 00:00 which is annoying- but I still cant change it.
How can I fix this?

Would (temporarily) disconnecting the HU allow you to set the date/time?
Does the display otherwise work correctly with the new HU installed?
Aftermarket Hus could use the pins the OEM unit uses for serial communication for other purposes, putting fixed voltages on one or both of the wires of the communications bus, blocking it.
However, I think the time/date stuff would be local to the display, but don't know.
Peugeot sells an adapter that isolates, doesn't connect, these wires between the two connectors of the adapter.

Nope when I disconnect the new HU it doesnt change still. Ive read disconnecting the battery for around 10 mins should work as it resets the BSI- Would this be recommended?

Definitely worth a shot. Make sure you boot the BSI correctly (Drop driver's window, ensure all doors and boot are shut, reconnect battery Neg then Pos, turn on sidelights through window, business as usual)
Try this without the HU connected and see how it runs and then try it again with the HU connected. If it works without but not with then I'd try one of these adaptors that gazza mantioned

Cheers chaps, it seems that when I replaced the fuse which blew... this reset my BSI for me.
It works just as it should now.
