So the idea was to get Bob's cats (you read that right) over from Italy back to where they belong (UK). Since Unity is meant to stick together, the rest of us also took holidays off but demanded treats as we go. And so it started..
Ready to rumble straight from Unity!
Jap ride style from UK, through France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and back...
carrying two Balts and one from Kent..
In fatherland they too like custom plates:
What lights could those be^^
I wonder if 206+ seats are a straight "swop"
Not too many 206ers in this part of Europe, naturally, but the ones we saw were in good nick!
Didn't mind this Chevy
The V8 Hotel furnishes top gear style
At first I thought it's some rebranded Jag, but it turned out Wiesmann'd taken the Oxford O (pisuar) along with TVR and other bits
Motorworld Stuttgart:
They copycat Addaz' plywood!
Merc museum:
Germans claim Benz and Daimler made the world's first two automobiles. What they slyly omit is the word "streamlined, able to put in production" There were many inventors of autonomously moving carriages around that time already.
What -is- interesting that they both done that within the same year and lived just 60miles apart from one another!
So if you invent something, be careful that there might be someone else doing exactly that already
Princess Diana had to return this after being told off that Royal Family members shan't be driving foreign make cars..
A whole new level on Stuttgart's main square
Since cats and trailer packing has been happening an hour away from Venice, the remaining lot of us had an easy decision to make: visit Venice or help our Unity member with packing.
I'll just mention here that one of the Venice landmarks was oddly off:
More photos will follow as I gather 'em

Stuttgart is cool. Didn't go to Marienplatz? Porsche sits there
Planning to go on a trip myself next year, from Essex to near Stuttgart, Trier, Rotterdam, Essex.
How long did it take you to drive to Venice?

Great pics Sim, it looks like the journey for the cats (feline, not vehicle as I originally thought) has been very enlightening!
