Hi 206 colleagues out there.
I recently asked for help on my Central Locking problem, and am once again seeking help or advice on the following fault.

My 5 door 1.4 HDI year 2004 works fine other than when I exit the car and open the drivers door using the release lever. The other 3 doors and boot then immediately lock themselves. I then have to operate the central locking keyswitch to open these 3 doors and the boot.

I have re-set the BSI (disconnecting/re-connecting the vehicle battery) to no avail.
Any help or advice would be most gratefully appreciated.

I believe that you have a problem with the master central locking lock, which cause the others to work in opposite way.
So does your car close the central lock when you move, like auto lock?

Hi.
The central locking does not auto-lock when moving. The fault only happens (central locking activates and locks the other 3 x doors) every time I exit the driver's door by operating the internal door release handle.

I should add that the system is fine and is not activated if someone is sitting in the opposite side and exits the N/S/F door.
