Hi guys, as I turn full lock to the right whilst moving (forwards or backwards) I get a loud clunk from the front right wheel area. Occasionally I get the same issue turning left but primarily it's when I throw alot of right steer on and it is getting worse.
206 GTI 138, 100K. Passed MOT last month.......
Cheers
Josh

Top mount strut bearing if doesn't clunk when over potholes, otherwise it will simply be drop link. ask someone else to turn and put your ear over top mount plastic.
I found it was droplink once, I saw&felt its balljoint pop about in socket. Someone turn wheels and you observe the droplink. If get no visual movement, grab a hold of it during the clunk but mind your arms!
Other way is to draw a metal bar from various suspension parts and your earlobe and stethoscope your way through

Could be the driveshaft joint .. they tend to be noisier when turning.
