How was driveme? I can highly recommend a track project. Not having to worry about creature comforts is really liberating.
Here's a better picture of the little blue beast we bought:
Gotta find a place to buy replacement gears now... any ideas? | I stopped caring for comfort after having found that I have gravel in my blood.
Actually the thinks people see as 'comfort and pretty' are more annoying than anything else! Started stripping the CC from plastic inside the cabin, just because of the noise and dirty looks. Since I removed the plastic from the A pillars and top of windscreen, car is quieter. Next is along the sides of the roof lining and C pillars.
Much, much better... Keeping the roof lining in though, for the noise of rain lol.
Do you know where to get moulded plastic door cards for 206's? I am after them. Can't miss the head rest, can do without everything else. And I think carbon are a tad too expensive (looking at what, 200 quid?! meh.)

Yeah... the only ones I know of are part AC0133 from www.ac-sport.com/. My plan is to get some aluminum backend polycarb, cut it to shape and screw it in place.
Could you DIY your own out of cardboard, fiberglass and bodyfiller then get some made from a mold taken from that?

It is not completely for losing the weight or anything, but to have it more practical and to have holes cut in it for door straps. My navigator complains about being thrown around on country roads at the moment. She cannot hold onto anything and with the roof down (or even up...) there are no handles to use.
I might just bite the bullet and cut a sleeve out of my lovely black and red leather cards... Though the idea of a flat bottom half makes me happy to hold papers etc better into place, and a better drinks holder. Right scared of getting a bottle or can in my footwell.

A pair of buckets and a harness bar would fix that!

Buckets will come indeed (need reclining ones unfortunately).
And a harness bar? Would be interesting, but rubbish for kids to get in and out the back. And I don't have a B pillar. So bit stuck there... will have to look into more avenues; with the strap being a short term solution to make her happier.
