[b] hi, so iv been working on my 206 1.1 2002. I took the timing belt off and marked the top gear but not the bottom gear (flywheel). Does ANYONE know of a marking or default position the bottom gear (flywheel) should be in so that it dosnt mess up the timing? Please help iv been really demotivated trying to get my 206 back on the road.

Is there not a marker or hole in the crank pulley to line up wuth a mark or hole in the block?

Hindsight is a marvellous thing. You should have locked the crank with a pin into the flywheel and the cam through the pulley. I don't think there are any timing marks on the bottom pulley. Now you risk the valves and pistons colliding while you try and line the flywheel up to set up the timing.

There is a marking of a "1" on the bottom pulley but thats it, no locking pin hole or anything. Would anyone know a company or a service who could help me out?

Take the sparkplugs out and lock the cam using a 10mm drill bit. Slowly rotate the crank clockwise until you can get a drill bit (IIRC 6mm) in the hole behind the oil filter and into the flywheel to lock the crank.
If you meet any resistance, then don't force it, back off a little, unlock the cam and rotate it 180 degrees. Once both locking pins are in place, put the belt on, tension it up correctly, rotate by hand for at least 2 full turns of the crank, put plugs back in and away you go.
