Hi all,

I've owned a 2001 Xsi for a year now and slowly been getting round to reversing some of the "modifications" performed by the previous owner.
Most of which come in the form of finding stuff cut out and missing.

With the factory alarm being one such item that didn't escape such butchery any help would be much appreciated.
The alarm originally did not work at all (it does have the button by the handbrake). However I found the wires of the boot switch cut (ground & live) so twisted them together temporarily. The indicators now flash as if the alarm is going off however there is no noise
This leads me to believe the wiring has also been cut to the siren. So firstly I'd like to know the location of the siren and then also any intermediate devices/boxes that are also wired to the siren (pictures would be great if they are difficult to find).

Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
