Hi everybody! Anyone experienced a rattle noise from the plastic cover of the timing belt? Mine always did it, I actually located the noise and I would like to fix it...

In my case those were the exhaust manifold heat shield nuts that'd come undone, rattle at a specific RPM.
2.0 HDi, year 2000 (courtesy to a mate after his car packed up. He said this 206 provokes cheeky driving style..)
GTi 180, year 2004 (garaged)
Missus' 1.6 16v CC, year 2007 (bedding her in more after doing her up more)
..a few more Franco/American-made/owned ones, journey depending

I just changed cambelt, it did it before and after, so I assume yes...
I already fixed manifold heat shield, that's now silent.
The noise I get comes surely around cambelt, in particular with cold engine, around 1800 rpm.
