Removing or replacing GTi Radiator Water Inlet Hose

So, the 206 GTi and I have had a little falling out with a Renault Captur.

At best (I've yet to fully inspect the damage) I've punctured the radiator and damaged the bonnet, both of which I have replacements for.

The car is sat at a friends garage, and he tried fitting the radiator for me (I didn't ask him to, lol) and he's informed me that the bottom hose is stuck, presumably fused.

Anyone got any useful tips other than using a penetrant / pick tool to try and free it (which I think he has already tried).

Or, does anyone know of any reasonably priced alternatives to replacing the hose assembly (OEM part 1351.HH).

I can't seem to find anything online, and the dealer price of £75.90 seems a bit excess for a couple of bits of plastic and hoses.... ?

A "lockpick" and patience will get us somewhere hopefully Very Happy (not breaking in anyone's house before you ask)

Guilty as charged!
Long story short: kids, don't ever abruptly dis/connect the battery, follow the proper procedure, otherwise you'll lose remote locking (=locked out, if your door lock barrels are from another 206 Very Happy )
 

And no, the above way won't work even if you pop the latch, deadlock for the win! Very Happy

But here's a more conventional way of getting in: figure out that passenger's door is actually an original, and the lock jammed simply from not ever being used (ask me how I accidentally figured this out Smile )

Do you need the Hose sending down mate I still have the 180 engine in so havent stripped it yet.
