Hey all!
I've been a bit of an idiot... I found a replacement steering wheel for my 1998 206. In my haste to fit it, I forgot the golden rule of leave the steering wheel bolt in slightly to loosen the wheel without smacking myself in the face and more importantly, not sheering the wiring... Sadly, the latter I have just done to my air bag single connection...
For now, I have taken the bulb out of the cluster to stop it flashing at me but I still need my horn.
My question is this - I understand that the grey connector is the horn? Can I connect this and it'll work again or do I need to reconnect the two spade connectors too? Currently I have nothing plugged in here in fear of setting an airbag in my face if I get the wrong wiring connected up!
Thanks in advance and yes, I will fix the airbag issue before the next MOT...

Location: What's it to you? ? ?

If the 2 pin airbag connector isn't plugged in to the back of the airbag it cant fire - make sure you isolate / insulate any bare wires so they cannot touch each other / anything metal.

You will need to connect the spade connectors else the horn push wont work.

When you replace the rotary switch unit if its a used part make sure its set in the middle of its travel & also your front wheel pointing straight ahead.

The rotary switch units only have around 5 to 6 full turns built in so they need to be set in the middle of the travel else it will snap the wiring inside when you turn the steering on full lock.

A brand new unit comes already set & held in place by tape or sacrificial setting pin.

Thank you very much, that's exactly the advice I was looking for.
