Hey guys, thought I'd make this thread as I'm going to start doing subtle mods on my 206!
I bought it as pictured below, totally standard except for some cheap halfords dezent alloys. Cost me 1700 with 94k miles on the clock (I know, expensive but I needed a new car as my saxo died on me). Came with FSH years M.O.T and 6 months tax so it was ready to drive away. It's a 2000 X reg 1.6 XS.
So anyway, on to the modding I guess. The first thing I have done, ad as of yet the only thing I have done is replaced those awful dezent alloys for some ProRace1.2's wrapped in fresh Proxes T1R's.
Then I decided I wanted new tail lights, and seen Robertmarcs selling these for a price that couldn't be rejected! Sorry about the car, it needs a good clean!
I didn't bother with Nimrods or Vortexs because I don't want my car looking the same as every other 206, I want mind to stand out once I start altering more on it.
Wing mirror caps and Windscreen wiper cap CC'd
Front badge sprayed black
Car lowered all round
and 4" sportex slash cut exhaust fitted.
Another angle of car lowered
Ph2 bootstrip fitted
IMAGE OF CAR WITH SPOILER ON TO COME!
Plans for the future:
Change alloys (Done)
New exhaust (Done)
Smoked crystal rear lights (Done)
Buy spoiler and spray gloss black (Done, fitted)
Paint bage in grill gloss black and surrounds (Done)
Lower all round (Done)
Ph. 2 bootstrip (Done)
C2 clear side repeaters (Not done)
Angel eye headlights or crystal (Not done)
Colour code wing mirror caps and windscreen wiper cap (Done)
Colour code bumpers and door strips (Not done)
Sports grill (Not done)

I would like to tint my windows mate but the last time I checked, my insurance provider wanted to bump it up a fair amount just for adding tints. I think I might avoid it for now, I'm happy with insurance just under a grand compared to what it was!
Cheers for the feedbck fella.

Cheers mate! Met robertmarcs at the weekend, his firedance is gorgeous!
I've owned mine since November, I have just been waiting for my insurance to drop before I started modding the car ever so slightly.

Haha yes, I did notice those! Especially the long gash down the drivers side rear quarter.

UPDATE:
After being messed about and conned by Mr.Helper, a new plan for exhaust is being actioned.
Ph2 bootstrip, angel eyes (Courtesy of kencogirl and kencoboy!), coilovers and exhaust to be done within the next two weeks if all goes according to plan!
Photos of all work will follow as and when
