All,

After seeing on here and other forums the different types of splitters people fitted I choose the Seat Leon Cupra R. Got it brand new from Seat for £24.18 Smile

and 15 mins later this is what it looks like, I know its nothing new but I do like them as it's looks original

Looks well mate, do you have a part number for splitter or did you just ask for a cupra r splitter? sounds cheap to me also as people are selling on ebay for more than that?

The part number is 1ML805903 and it was 24.82 including VAT brand new from seat. They do range in price depending on your local seat dealer but def cheaper than off ebay mate and if you have seat local dont even need pay postage Very Happy

what size self tapper screws did ya use?! Razz

Haha they were out of my dad's van so were a freebie lol they were roughly just shorter than half an inch. They only need to be long enough to go through the splitter and the bumper which is roughly same thickness as the splitter so even mine could of been shorter if I wanted.

Hope this helps Very Happy

It's simple to fit mate you cant really go wrong just need take you time.

When i got the splitter I cut off all the clips so that the top of the splitter was flat, then driled pilot holes through all the tabs (should be about 10 i think)

Then got the front of the car jacked uo, then use mole grips to holed the splitter in place or a mate.

Then using sel tapper screws started from the centre working your way out positioning it to where you want it to sit, then when your near the edge get a hacksaw to cut it level with the bumper and then put the final screws in the end and jobs done. took me about 20 mins but recommend just taking your time to get ti perfect.

Looking good Thumb Up

I had one my car, probably one of the easyest things to do IMO, I fitted mine with car still on ground and car was lowered, took about 10mins,

and they hold up to the smack on drive way every time I came home Laughing

I have a feeling someone on the old site did, just sat closer to edge, I think,
