Hey,
Thought I might as well throw up a build log as I keep spending money on this car! It's an my03 206 GTi Rallye, which means it comes with sp arches, 180 spoiler and Devil muffler, which rusted and is now replaced with a stock one, but with that massive tip (which I don't like).
Bought late last year, current 'mods' are stubby antenna, debadged rear, rear wiper delete, Cupra R Lip, K&N filter.
Plans are shocks n springs within the next 2 months to get a ~45mm drop, intake, exhaust, just stuff to tweak it up a bit.
Here are some pics. Yes, it is always nice and sunny in Queensland, yes you should be jealous.
Update 29/8/2010
Moved the spare tyre to the boot and removed the cage. Means I don't need to stuff around with it every time I want to use the jack, and I can take it out when I need to.
And a recent photo.
Wall in my bedroom.
Thanks
Tim

In the UK it would be the GTi with SP pack.
However they call different models different things overseas eg. GTi 180 here is the 206 RC abroad.

Update 29/8/2010
I also got a quote for Koni Yellow damper adjustable shocks (all round) and King Springs (front) of $1100. That'll lower it about 30-35mm at the front, reckon this is enough? I'm going for aesthetics a bit, mostly handling, but don't want to be scraping everywhere.

I bet there aren't many 206's over there?! What's fuel like? I'd be in the biggest V8 brute I could lay my hands on lol
Looks very clean though
One more thing, in the picture of you stood by the car...are you holding a beer? I'm not saying that becuase you're an aussie, honest.

Yeah there aren't many at all, which makes it a little more expensive to own, but I like something different! Fuel is around $1.40 per litre for 98ron (best we got), and yeah everyone's got a V8. They're not very effficient though so we also have TONS of Jap turbo's running around which kill the V8s most of the time.
And na that wasn't a beer lol, drink driving is bad

It got 102hp at the front wheels, which was about right compared to what everyone else was getting on the day. However, I'm getting the injectors and throttle body cleaned this summer so it'll be interesting to see if that makes a noticeable difference on a car with 130k kms.

Ok so the Pug goes in for a service next week, oil+filter, brake fluid, fuel + pollen filters and new spark plugs. I put in NGK ones last year and had no idea that they might be the cause of my intermittent starting problems and car shaking in the mornings. Hopefully some Bosch ones will clear that up.
I also just got my first full time job (yay for me!) so my cash flow is about to pick up. I've been thinking of selling and buying a Golf VR6 or MK2 GTI, but I can't make a decision. I probably won't have that much cash to throw around, so will just be looking at coilovers, tint, headunit, maybe new brake pads in the next 2 months.
See how things go! 1st post updated with my canvas print of a pic I took of my car, now on my wall in my bedroom!

Don't buy a VR6 if you like going around corners fast... It's heavy, old and at least here unreasonably pricey.
P.S. If you're going to change pads and still have some extra cash, you could find a wrecked 307 and take it's calipers off, if they're okay you can also take the discs and pads and you'll have the GTi180/RC brake setup.(orig.=266mm GTI180=283mm)
