as my alloys were in a real state and nobody had showed in interest in buying them i decided i needed to sort them out myself. i've never done anything like this before, so here is my progress. (1st wheel only).

before

during

after

it is not quite finished, i plan to go over the polished parts with a smoother sand paper to get it nice and shiny and then laquer. i also plan to paint the front calipers white.

as it has took me all weekend to get this far on one wheel its going to be a while before they are all done lol.

comments welcome Smile

I spent ages rubbing them down with a rough sand paper, my hands hurt now lol. then masked the silver bits off and sprayed the rest matt black. then tidied it all up with a smooth sand paper. they need some lacquer though Smile

Just so that you know, you could have saved yourself a lot of work but simply 2000 wet and drying that finished down then using a G3 cutting compound and it would have come up like the standard finish.....
