What about the pedals? Is it easier to use the pedal arms? Or just better to drill existing ones or tigerseal onto rubber or something?

I'd just be tempted to swap the whole arms over to be honest save messing and drilling.

Just get in the footwell and have a look how they're held on, the new ones you have give you some idea of where the bolts would go etc. I'd be tempted to get new bolts from Peugeot also incase yours are hard to get off and you wreck them getting them off.

To take the gearknob off, turn it 45 degs to the left and pull really hard!
Your centre console you have just bought will require that fascia adapter you were on about the other day to tidy it up
