Hi,

Since we picked up the car about 4 weeks ago, hubby has jacked it a couple of times to change brake pads and check rear shoes, but has a hell of a job getting his trolley jack under it. Even with the jack at lowest point, it hardly passes under the flanges on the bottom of the sills, especially at the front. Luckily we have a small ramp at the entrance to our garage and he has had to park the car partly inside to make use of the small rise the ramp gives to get the jack under. I guess the standard Pug jack on the jacking points would fit, but we've never come across a car that the trolley won't fit under.

What is standard ground clearance for one of these? How do we tell if its been lowered?

I keep trying to find another SW to park beside to compare, but not been lucky so far!

pics would really help....

iirc standard clearance at the front is about 130-150mm.... i know that mine when i had it on the 15's had a clearance of 85mm and i couldnt get the jack under.... i'm now saving up for a slim trolley jack (max hight when closed is 40mm) to help with jacking it up Smile
