Started to put the engine in today, was going to drop engine in from the top to the floor, bolt gearbox on and lift them up again. didn't really work very well so went back to my old way, bolt them together and lift them both in with a bit of careful movement.

Managed to get them in without too much hassle, one or two small scrapes, nothing that can be seen luckily.

Bolted in the driveshafts, clutch cable on and tested the clutch was working.

Went on to spanner check the entire from end, nice and tight bar the front hub nuts which still need torquing.

Went to get on with trying to take the old drum apart to get some parts out of it. Anthony tried his best to get it off but when 20 tons wouldn't remove the stub pin he swapped the arms. Got all the parts I need but unfortunatly the back plate that ive been sent is for the drivers side not passenger. If I had a stepper drill on me I would have modified it there and then, but unfortunatly didn't so it wont be back on 4 wheels this weekend.

So the car was like this, and the opportunity came to move the car. I always said the car would drive out of this workshop, so thats what we did and onto the trailer after changing the tyres so we could get some pressure in them.

Drove it onto the trailer, were it took a little journey to its temporary new home.

Friday I finally started working on it again, started decoding some loom bits and bobs, welded the blow in the exhaust up (really badly oops!) and made some bits ready to TIG for the coolant system.

Finally handed the key back for the workshop yesterday after clearing it out after the PCAD at Combe.

The premises is were im at uni currently. Spend loads of time there prepping the race cars so its nice to be able to take it there with me and spend some of that time on something of my own for once!

Hopefully not to long till it gets a nice few shiny bits that I need to fabricate for it.
