my first diesel ive had and impressed with it great on fuel think its nippy and love hearing turbo whistle all time when you put your foot down and engine will go on forever really 500,000 easy if well serviced bulletproof my ex peugeot mechanic said def best and strongest engine can get for any peugeot . If 90bhp isnt enough for you can get remap and intercooler and make it alot faster , the torque is impressive with the 2.0 hdi anyway standard

Not as refined.

It's pretty good, my third 206. First was a 1.4, then a 1.6, now a 2.0 hdi turbo and it's the best i've had by far.

Couldnt disagree with you more here.
They have got some poke when you need it, they are not that noisy at all well mine isnt. Clutch is fine not heavy at all and the fuel consumption is very good in town and out.
