depends on buget really.

Could try remap or superchip but you wont get much for the money.

yes ideally you should but it depends what money you want to spend.
You could get the head ported and polished but it will cost many a ££££.

May be go old school and advance the cam timing?? I would double check you can do that though.

My ecosse manifold made noticeable improvements to the cars response when i put the foot down. I was in the same boat as you and then decided to get a Clio Sport 182 Very Happy

But the manifold was a great purcahse for my car

ok cheers well so far my idea is to get a 421 manifold with straight center section bmc filter and thats where i run out.

money is to much of an option as im not planning on doing it all at once so have the chance to save etc.

just wondering what to do and what order to do it in?

new mani, stainles exhaust, attach your airfilter and some new cams and a re-map would be a nice little touch!

I'm kinda going to hijak this, but in the hopes that it helps you, aswell as me.

I have been thinking about the same, making my car a bit quicker, and I know I will get told to get rid of the 17" which I will once I can afford to lower it.

I contacted someone about having a mani put on and I was told to be careful as after market manis, stainless steel ones, have a tenancy to crack.

Is that true?

I would also say you need a stainless steel catback.

I was also thinking about getting a sports cat, but I was told this wasnt possible because my cat is attached to the down pipe/mani(?).

Is that the same with yours?

All stainless can crack, but they dont very often if they are made right.

The cat could be on the down pipe, you could have the original cat cut off and then a sport cat put on by a custom exhaust place or by someone who can weld

Ahh right, didn't know that. I was looking at the Raceland 4-2-1 Manifold.

So do you know if the cat is after the manifold or attached to it? Hoping someone will know. Its an 8v 1.4.

I was thinking (hoping) it's attached, so if I was replacing it, then I can add the sports cat anyway.
