Here's my Nova SR project, I have copied it from another site because there's too many photos to start over!
Here's my SR, 1992 with original 1400 single carb engine. Needs a bit of bodywork done which I will start on soon.
Sellers photos of the car:-
T-cut, trim restorer, cheap mudflaps, Laguna front splitter and some black wheels
Lowered the rear a bit
Decided I didn't like the black wheels so I fitted the one's it came with, I personally think it looks a lot better plus they are quite a bit lighter than the black alloys.
Fitted my polybushes on the front :-
Then fitted my cage, which was a major tight squeeze! :-
Fitted my MK1 SR/GTE door cappings :-
Went out for a drive and went to Torry Battery which overlooks the harbour entrance, saw some Dolphins.
Today I spent 4 hours cleaning and polishing the car. Started by going over it with a clay bar, then T-cut as it had started to fade very slightly as all red Vauxhall's do! Then I waxed it, went over all the black plastic trims with a restorer and then cleaned and waxed all the bare metal inside. To finish off I dressed the tyres and mudflaps.
Then it went for a trip to the woods, it couldn't come for a wander with us though as it wouldn't fit down the paths
I received my Honda Jazz rear wiper arm today, so I fitted that!
A tribute to a legend
Nova is now off the road for a few bits and pieces also to save my wallet, we worked out I've spent £680 on fuel in the 3 months I've owned the car
Have been racking up the miles so there's a few bits that need attention, this meant putting the 206 back together which was an absolute challenge!

Did a little bit on the Nova tonight, was busy the rest of the day doing things to other peoples cars!

Hole inside passenger rear inner arch, goes right the way round :-
Welding done prior to me owning, looks all good and well.....shame they never cut the rust out :-
Hole in the other side of the boot floor :-
Drivers side rear arch totally bodged with a tonne of filler, why people can't just fix things properly rather than f*****g bodging them I do not know! :-
Started sanding spoiler down :-
Lots of cutting and grinding done today, pretty boring but it has to be done!
Spoiler removed :-
Sound proofing removed from spare wheel well, pain in the ass job to do! :-
Rear inner arch cleaned up with a wire brush :-
Cut away arch on passenger side to access inner wheel arch so it can be welded :-
Some rust cut out of inner arch, also has rotted the chassis leg so need a small section on that too, it's amazing how much rust can spread when there's nothing to protect the metal :-
Some more of the arch cut away to get in about the inner arch for welding :-
Rust on the inner wheel arch :-
Started cleaning up the underside of the car :-
Started seam welding the engine bay, decided just to do it now incase I ever want to fit a 2.0 at any point :-
Did a bit more smoothing of the firewall :-
Started removing some interior bits :-

Good progress mate. Just about to start something similar with my mate. He has a red top nova that he ripped in half. He has a 3 door saloon to chuck it in so getting that ready like you have done.
If you need any parts for you Nova pm me as he has a garage full of them. Including full tinted windows that he wants to sell should you be interested
