If I do not go ahead with the roof scoop I will be looking into other ways to get air in to the compartment where your drivers side leg sits
Maybe cut a hole out and duct air to it ?
Any other suggestions ?

Surely a bonnet one is better than the roof?

Bit of a s**t way of doing it don't you think? Why not take the air from inside the wing? Just fabricate something to stop the s**t getting in.

Ye will probably go down that road for the browsers
I was thinking about adding the roof scoop but don't want it just purely causing drag rather it put air somewhere.

Just an idea... why not fit the vent in your door card, If you remove the front arch liner you can see thru to the leading edge of the door, Cut a hole below the wiring duct, add a peice of ducting of your own. Refit arch line to act as splash guard and you will get air from outside and no visible vent hole..... Mini dash vents or similar would mount in your door cards

One on the rear clamshell of the rally car but it's there to blow cool air across the bulkhead to block some of the engine heat from the cabin.
