So, if i want to upgrade the brakes on my 2002 XSi (1.6 16v) I can swap them for the 406 V6 ones and they go straigh on?

What brake pads do I fit? (without sounding really stoopid im gunna guess the 406 V6 pads.)

I wouldn't want to trust some company to make them for me, what if the bracket snaps when braking hard, is there any ready made available that have been tested?

They are at 82mm centres. I was only saying that what's the point in guessing and being wrong? It doesn't help.

I'm fitting v6 brembos on my XSi with the 406 master cylinder (purely because I have a full v6 I can take appart and use whatever I need). I'd advise to use the bigger master cylinder as it'll help improve the feel of the brake and travel as well.

The pads you use are the same on all the brembo 4pots from different cars but the oem ones will be all the same, just depends if you want to use something better like tarox, red stuff etc.

I'm going to be running brembo max pads and c4 vts brembo max vented discs with mine.
