Heres some pics of my little project, its a 1600 8v.

Since buying it I have done a full service and I need to do the clutch cable and cam belt this week

Its had a full new exhaust, and needs a new link pipe and cat' also fitted this week

I need to get a sump guard and some gravel tyres before the end of next months in time for my first auto test

Nope, FIA aproved sparko items

And there's no bonnet catch, so in the event of a crash, a marshall can get under the bonnet for whatever reason.

Need to sort a cut off switch too Smile

Nope, thats for stage rallies

This is going to be used on public roads and auto tests where pretty much anything can be used, some of the roads are gravel though Wink

Got a new cat and link pipe fitted today! pulls well and sounds nicer too, also the exhaust is sitting way higher which is exactly what we need for rallies Very Happy

Would not go for the gravel tyres..... a decent set of Mud/snow tyres would be better... you may find road rally regs will not permit gravel tyres
