I was on the lookout for GTi 180 but the insurance on them is ridiclous and after reading through Jamie's thread I wasnt really sure if the 180 was a car that can be put on throttle bodies ...
Thanks crossie for the pictures, looks really nice but needs to be lowered!!!! lol

I have been doing s**t loads of overtime to save up for ITBs but after giving adrian flux a call think bodies might not be an option

I think at 19 if you put ITB's or cams on your insurance company isnt even going to lube you up when you tell them

I agree about going for looks, but in fairness to the OP, he said no turbo's himself. |
i no he said no turbos. In my post tb's means throttle bodies.
What i am saying is surely throttle bodies would put the insurance up just as much as a turbo yet he is quite happy to have the throttle bodies???

I think you should go for looks first. then go for performance once you have had it for a while and you will notice the power increase more

This is a good point, i would personally colour code, spoiler and new wheels.
